Spring pink makeup edit

Spring Pink Make Up Edit

In celebration of all the pink blossom I keep seeing on tree’s everywhere (and on Instagram!), I thought I’d put together a quick ode to spring in the form of a pink make up edit.

First on the list is the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. I was a bit apprehensive about buying this palette because even though it is beautiful in the tin I wondered if I would actually get use of it, so I held back for a while. Then I was kindly gifted it at Christmas and I’ve been pleasantly surprised about how much I’ve actually worn it particularly the lighter matte shades which have made regular appearances in my everyday make up as of late.

Moving on to blush now and my go to shade of pink has got to be Benefit Hervana. It’s not only the packaging that is pretty, the powder itself is made up of four individual shades in a pinwheel design that when swirled together create a warm pink with peach undertones. In terms of pigmentation, it’s a soft flush of colour on the cheeks.

MAC's Creme Cup Lipstick has been well documented on blogs over the past couple of years so it's no surprise it's made today's edit as well. The pinky nude is an everyday staple in my makeup bag due to it's subtle but buildable colour. However, be prepared to reapply often...

And if you are looking for the perfect flamingo pink nail polish, Essie’s Lovie Dovie is definitely for you.
