Remember when I said that I had a few outfit posts photographed from last year? This is another...I took my cosy mustard scarf (as well as my new at the time Kate Spade bag *drools*) out for a stroll last Autumn when it was warm enough to leave the house without a fully buttoned coat.
I love wearing different colours. But sometimes, when it's a bit cold and grey outside, all I want to do is throw on a pair of jeans and jumper (and hibernate for the winter). But this time I thought enough was enough and I tried to jazz things up this time by adding a splash of mustard, purple and a hot pink lip to boot. I think it worked quite well.
On a slightly separate note, I don't think I've actually mentioned the fact that I'm engaged yet. Yup that's right, Sean popped the very surprising question last summer (that's how little blogging I've done!) and now, despite the plan to wait a while, I'm going full steam ahead with the wedding plans. We've already ticked one of the biggest things off of our list which was finding and booking the venue, which I am so in love with! Now I'm making myself busy with designing prototype invitations, cake toppers and all sorts of cutesy wedding stuff. It's going to be a real DIY wedding. Roll on August 2019.
