Gone are the days when face masks were reserved for girly sleep overs or a weekend indulgent treat. Face masks have been converted into a skincare regime staple, particularly when using them with other masks which is often referred to as 'multi-masking'. Multi-masking is the new way to solve all your skincare woes in one go, whether it be dry skin on the end of your nose, or battling unwanted breakouts. Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask
Whenever I think of face masks I'm always reminded of the mud masks that I applied as a teenager and how much I enjoyed the feeling of it tightening on my skin, which is exactly why I opted to try this mask first. Because of that tight feeling and the fact that it's super exfoliating, you really do feel like your getting that at home spa experience because your face feels nice and smooth after. The mask dries very quickly and a little really does go a long way, I've used this mask so many times and I've barely even dented the pot. My only comment with this one is that it can get a little messy when applying with fingers so I would definitely recommend using the brush for application.
I mainly like to use this mask on my T-zone which despite mainly having dry skin, can build up oil.
Amazonian Acai Energising Radiance Mask
The next on my wish list was the radiance mask. No matter how much sleep I get, my skin always lacks lustre and feels tired which is why I was particularly excited to try this. The vibrant mask exfoliates whilst invigorating my tired skin and the smell just makes me feel full of energy. I will use this mask instead of the charcoal mask if my skin is feeling sensitive or on the dry side. I like to use this mask on my cheeks leading up, but not around, my eyes to brighten and refresh my skin. After it's been on for 5-10 minutes, I gently wipe it off with a muslin cloth.
Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask
Last but by no means least is the honey mask. This is the most intense and nourishing mask in the line and has been a god send over the past few wintery cold months where my skin has been suffering. The mask is actually like applying honey directly to you face, leaving it for a few minutes and then washing off. It's hydration that lasts all day, leaving your skin feeling soft and supple. I tend to apply this mask in whatever space is left on my face and if I'm feeling really indulgent I apply this as a secondary mask to hydrate after exfoliating. It's like a do-it-yourself at home facial.
