DIY: MASSAGE BAR

DIY LUSH MASSAGE BAR

Part two of Valentines week is dedicated to making these easy peasy massage bars which are a great dupe for the Lush versions you can find here. I didn't realise this before but after looking on the Lush website, I've learnt there's actually quite a lot of health benefits to having a regular massage. Yup, that's right! According to recent studies, having massages has been linked to improving sleep, easing pain, boosting your mood and even boosts your complexion and hair. You can read more about that here but in the meantime I suggest you whip up a batch of these massage bars as a Valentines Day present, and tell your boyfriend to use it...on you! It's for your health after all!

You will need

30g Raw Cocoa Butter
30g Coconut Oil
1 Tbsp Almond Oil
A few drops of an essential oil of your choice
Heart shaped mould

Method

- The first thing you need to do is melt the butter and oils together. You can either do this in the microwave or in a bain-marie. Be careful not to overheat them
- Put the mixture into a jug and pour it into your mould
- Pop the mould into the fridge for an hour or until they have set. Then pop them out and they are ready to use!
