STYLE: TED & MUFFY OVER THE KNEE BOOTS

Pretty Woman?

Over the knee boots are everywhere at the moment. Seriously. I have wanted to join the revolution for such a long time now, so when I was invited to select a pair of boots by Ted & Muffy at the Bath store relaunch, I knew that's what I had to choose (although I did toy with the idea of these beauties briefly)

BEAUTY: BOBBI BROWN GREIGE PALETTE

BOBBI BROWN GREIGE PALETTE REVIEW

I must admit I'm quite a fan of Bobbi Brown seasonal makeup collections. I'm particularly a sucker for the eye shadow palettes and after missing out on their Surf and Sand palettes last year, I was determined not to make that mistake twice. Enter the Bobbi Brown Greige palette which caught my eye in John Lewis back in September. I deliberated whether to buy this palette for a few weeks and after day dreaming about it for so long, I decided to make the plunge and last week when it turned up on my doorstep, I had no regrets.

STYLE: DUNE ANKLE BOOTS

How to wear black leather ankle boots

There are 2 things that I buy every Autumn without a doubt and that's a new coat (more to come on that one) and a new pair of boots, it's tradition after all! I bought a pair of Dune Chelsea boots from Dune a couple of years ago and they lasted 2 whole years before going to shoe heaven! With that in mind, Dune has always been my first port of call in my boot search quest.

DIY: LIP SCRUB

How to make your own lip scrub

In one of my recent posts on how to avoid dry skin in the winter, I talked about how important it is to carry a lip balm around with you and constantly top up. What I didn't tell you though was that there's another step I use to keep that dry skin at bay and that's to use a scrub to exfoliate your lips before applying a balm.

BEAUTY: 3 AUTUMN NAIL POLISHES

3 Autumn Nail Polishes

Nail polish has long been my favourite beauty item, it's not too often you'll see me without some colour on my nails (albeit maybe chipped or picked at, bad beauty blogger!). As I'm very much in an A/W frenzy right now, I thought I would share 3 colours I've been reaching for a lot over the past couple of weeks.

STYLE: H&M PLAYSUIT

How to wear a playsuit in Autumn

On a beautifully sunny Saturday in September (there's a tongue-twister for you!), I headed to London with my friend Abby to go to Kirsty Allsop's Handmade Fair. I'd never been before and didn't really know what to expect, but it definitely didn't disappoint.

RECIPE: SALTED CARAMEL BROWNIES

RECIPE: SALTED CARAMEL BROWNIES

When I was at the Handmade Fair a few weeks ago (more to come on this soon!), there was a lovely stall called Frandie Macaron which sold, yes you guessed it...macarons! I was instantly attracted to it of course but the thing that intrigued me most was the sauces they sold called Gloop! There were 4 flavours to choose from but, of course, I had to go for the salted caramel version which is what brings us to this recipe! I've wanted to make salted caramel brownies for a while, ever since a friend of mine called Charlotte brought some A-Mazing ones into work one day and I finally got to try them out!

BEAUTY: HOW TO AVOID DRY SKIN THIS WINTER

Outside, the temperature really started to drop at the weekend and whilst I'm praying we've not seen the last of the sun just yet, I am starting to prepare for the dry skin that comes as a result of that colder weather. I think I've said it so many times on this blog but I really do have horribly dry skin. It's taken me quite some time but I've finally found some amazing products and got myself into a great routine that really helps.
