STYLE: DUNE ANKLE BOOTS

How to wear black leather ankle boots

There are 2 things that I buy every Autumn without a doubt and that's a new coat (more to come on that one) and a new pair of boots, it's tradition after all! I bought a pair of Dune Chelsea boots from Dune a couple of years ago and they lasted 2 whole years before going to shoe heaven! With that in mind, Dune has always been my first port of call in my boot search quest.

With that being said, enter Petrie, my new favourite ankle boot of choice. The boots feature a unique quilted ankle panel, a heel small comfortable heel and the best bit about them is that the side zip makes them so easy to get on! I paired my new Dune boots with a khaki utility dress, a black jacket and as these photos were taken a few weeks ago I was still a member of the no tights club #win

This was the first day I decided that I was going to start wearing my parting in the middle. Having been a side fringe gal for quite some time now, it's a hard adjustment to make (as you can tell by these pictures where my fringe just does not want to play ball). The jury's out of whether I'll stick to the middle or revert back to my old ways, it would be great to get your opinions!

Have you got any Autumn fashion traditions?

  1. You look amazing! I'm happy that I'm not the only one who thinks a new pair of boots is a necessity to autumn!
