STYLE: RIVER ISLAND SWING DRESS

Sean and I had a date night last week and I thought I'd take the opportunity to take a few cheeky snaps of what I wore for the evening. I actually choose to wear this beautiful River Island swing dress which I bought via ASOS and was perfect for the occasion. The only downside is that the slip underneath the dress does ride up (#bigbootyproblems), meaning I spent half the night pulling it back down. But hey it's worth it. I paired the dress with an old River Island lace box clutch bag I often steal from my mum and I had photographed my beach waves advice post in the morning (see they do last all day!), so it was easy peasy to get ready.

Now let's move on to the shoes. You might remember me featuring these pretty things in a post a couple of months ago (and if not you can see it here) and I have to hold my hand on my heart and confess I haven't worn them since. But after professing my love for them (and don't get my wrong I still think they are beautiful..to look at) I can't believe how much of a demon shoe these really are. I only wore them for about 20 minutes before I had to take them off and walk barefoot around Bath because I was covered in blisters. How glamourous am I?! Maybe with a bit more wear my feet will break them in but I don't know if I'm brave enough to take the risk.
