STYLE: NEW LOOK CAMEL SKIRT

Note to self: always iron your clothes before taking blog photos (or learn how to use photoshop to get rid of the evidence). Now back to the outfit...

This New Look Skirt is my way of attempting to be slightly different to the Brown Suedette A Line Skirt blogger trend thats been doing the rounds over the past couple of months. Did I achieve this? The jurys still out but I really like this skirt and makes me feel very 60s whilst wearing it. What are a few other things I love about this outfit I hear you ask?

1) The nails: I've been wearing Essie 'Lovey Dovey' on my nails a lot lately. To begin with I thought the shade was to Barbie like for my taste but I'm totally obsessed by how eye catching it is (and surprisingly versatile)

2) The bag: I'm a big bag girl at heart so using something that can't even fit my purse in is a big change for me but I really love it! I love the fact that I can only carry around the stuff I actually need and it was just the right size to carry my travel guide around in Amsterdam #win

3) The necklace: This necklace was an absolute steal from Primark. I'm a plain Jane when it comes to jewellery and I quite often forget to put it on these days. But I've been throwing this necklace on with most outfits over the past few weeks and you probably couldn't have even guessed it was only £1.50 (shhhh I won't tell if you don't)
