Do you remember being dragged around Clarks as a child looking, for the perfect pair of school shoes that you were only going to scuff on your first day back at school? I do, and because of this I always associate Clarks with boring school shoes. Oh how I was wrong...

About a month ago Sean and I were in London and it started to tip it down so ran into the nearest shop which so happened to be a Clarks. I was instantly surprised by the variety of shoes that were on offer and feel in love with these patent loafers. They are probably the comfiest pair of shoes I own (and they were in the sale, yesssss) and I wear them all the time.

On this particular occasion I went to an artisan market at Whitehall Garden Centre. Now I'm slightly biased because my friend organises the events at Whitehall, but I thought it was an absolutely fabulous market. There was a variety of traders selling everything from stain glassed angels to kitchen ceramics. But my favourite stall was one called Moji who are a mother/daughter duo that make lovely hand made items. Their knitted cushions were to die for and I event snapped up a pair of fingerless gloves ready for the winter. I couldn't recommend them more.

XOXO
