My Best Dressed: Grammys 2012!

I've just finished watching 2 hours worth of E's Live on the Red Carpet for the 2012 Grammys. I'm a sucker for seeing who's wearing what, fashion no-nos and hair and beauty disasters. There were some clear stand outs for best dressed females in my opinion and also some people who got it majorly wrong. Heres my top 5 picks!

1) Rihanna

Rihanna's collaboration with 'Mr Armani' could not have been any more perfect for the singers body and personality. She oozed sexiness and with minimal accessories, she let her dress do all the talking. I have to admit when I first saw Rihanna's new blonde 'do I wasn't keen. But the singer pulled the look off well last night and was definitely one of my favourites of the night!

2) Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood just look gorgeous from head to toe. This beautiful sequinned dress by Gomez-Gracia made her shine like the star she is. Covered from top to bottom on the front, it was nice to see and open back to show some skin. Her hair and make-up was immaculate with her dark smoky eyes and pink lips giving her my favourite make-up look of the night.

3) Jessie J

Jessie J wore a mirrored Julien Macdonald dress to the Grammys and called herself 'the Grammy disco ball'. For her first Grammys, Jessie J choose the perfect dress and rocked it as if she had been doing it for years. My only criticism would be the hair. I would have liked to have seen her do something better with her trade mark fringe but I think the dress and purple smokey eyed make-up more than makes up for this minor detail.

There were also some crazy dress options from Nicki Minaj who immediately turned heads in her Versace creation and walking the red carpet with a pope impersonator and Sasha Gradiva who opted for a dress with a gun attached to the arm. Always nice to be different I guess...
